Short distance trips

Basic information for short distance trips: The KurzstreckenTicket is valid for three stops from the time of boarding:

Sections of bus routes that cross the highway are not counted as stops; these do not count as short distances. When it comes to express bus lines, the short distance range is considered based on the parallel city bus line (these stops are to be counted).

It is not possible to change trains/buses within the short distance trip and the ticket is valid for 20 minutes from the time of purchase or validation.

In the transfer to the city of Monheim, there is no short-distance fare between the stops Monheim "Haus Bürgel" and Düsseldorf "Mühlenplatz", as well as between Monheim "Waldschlösschen" and "Langenfeld (S)".
